Hey Five Arrows! Welcome to VENTS. Thanks for taking the time to chat with us.
When did you begin your music career?
I began making EDM music about three years or so ago. My friend was making music and introduced me to Ableton Live, and from there I continued to grow. Prior to making EDM, I played guitar in a touring heavy metal band.
Were you writing and still performing during the pandemic? Any major life changes?
So, when the pandemic hit, I took that as a great opportunity to make as much music as possible. Being isolated and filled with uncertainty, I was able to produce at a faster and more efficient rate. Basically, my time was more focused on writing.
If you were not in music, what do you think you’d be doing?
I would probably be a travel vlogger/blogger. I was kind of already doing that prior to making EDM music and it’s something I enjoy. Photography/Videography are still hobbies of mine.
Where are you located? How has this affected your music?
Right now, I am located in Lexington, Kentucky. It’s my hometown, but prior I lived in Florida. I plan to get back down to Florida at the end of this year. I can’t do another winter haha.
Any touring?
I plan to write and release plenty more songs over the rest of the year, maybe with a few live DJ sets here and there. Mainly my focus is getting more music out.
Did you ever see yourself producing music? When did it finally “start” for you?
Honestly, no. I have always been in bands and have been able to play music, but I always thought you had to be some sort of wizard to produce music. It’s like anything else, if you focus on something long enough, and have a work ethic, you can achieve it.
What’s next?
More music and more collabs with other artists. I plan to release numerous singles throughout the rest of 2022, then hopefully an EP/album at the end of 2022.
