This famous tango was composed in 1944 by the great poet and lyricist Homero Expósito and the composer, bandoneonist and orchestra conductor Domingo Federico. Carmen Hernandez is a singer dedicated to her art, from her warm voice to her love for Latin American culture, you can count on her ability to move her listeners. She was born in Bogotá and first saw recognition for her talent when she was very young. Her first debut with her brother Luis won them the ‘Talentos Juveniles‘ award sponsored by Radio Caracol, and brought them to radio and tv shows such as Telecirco Colombina. Her talent even moved composer Jorge Camargo Spolidore to invite her to perform with his orchestra, Femenina De Colombia. Since then, she has performed in LA musicals and conquered Paris with her music.
