‘Blind Spot‘ is the latest EP from alt rock artist Kay Jam. This artist was inspired by the dark sides and secrets people hide behind their smiles. These shadowy themes are showcased across the project, with ‘Predator‘ inspired by the Netflix show Lucifer and ‘Flames‘ inspired by a loved one struggling with burnout. Produced and recorded himself, ‘Blind Spot‘ is influenced by a range of artists including the likes of Radiohead, Imagine Dragons and more, perfect for those looking for their next fix of imaginative alt rock and indie sounds.
Kay Jam is a personal project by author, composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Julien Cambarou. After studying music at HEMU, a Swiss music school in Lausanne, he bears a great knowledge of the craft, evident in this upcoming EP. This adventurous musician likes to bridge an intense range of emotions and styles with carefully worded lyrics, resulting in various compelling projects across the board. Kay Jam is excited to have a bunch of festivals lined up this year including Poprock Festival, Estivale Openair and Venoge Festival, and is set to wow his audiences with his talented performance skills.
