Nate knew when starting the business that customer service trumped everything else. Having held down multiple jobs as a teen and young adult, including positions at McDonald’s, Sheetz, and Rent-A-Center, he recognized the difference he could make in someone’s day by putting a smile on their face or helping them resolve a problem. Using his past experiences at these different jobs while working on scaling Symba Marketing with his business partner, he made sure to offer the kind of customer service experience he’d want to receive when shopping for products or services.
“If you think of how you’d like to be treated when working with a business, it gives you an idea of how to treat others when they hire you to provide a service. I knew that I wanted to make a difference for these people who’d come to us for help with branding and marketing.
