Tyback release their debut album ‘Journey of Emotions‘, a 15 track project by Larry Backstrom and Tyree Young. This collection of pop songs explore the spectrum of powerful experiences we all go through, inspired by music from the likes of James Taylor, Elton John and The Rolling Stones. This record shines a light on Larry’s rich and warm voice and impresses with some great guitar performances from Tyree. Each song is inspired by a love of Larry’s life, hear about his love for his wife with songs like “A Woman Like You“, the freeing motorcycle life on “The Ride” and the strength of his faith on “I Don’t Mind“. This charming album is a great one for lovers of the classic pop and rock sounds as well as those embarking on a road trip this summer.
Frontman Larry started playing the piano and guitar as a young child and then began songwriting as a teenager. Having been a part of a blues band called the ‘Rhondolays’, and then a Christian worship team for 15 years, Larry is a skilled musician and performer. It was at church where he met Berklee College of Music graduate and professional recording engineer Tyree Young. As Tyback they make a great team, with Larry writing songs on his baby grand piano and Tyree recording, arranging and contributing his brilliant guitar skills. This group has made a strong start with ‘Journey of Emotions’ and would love to garner international attention for the hard work and talent showcased on the project.
