James Murray is the Founder and CEO of Everything High-Level LLC. James recently had an event, Talented Tenth, in Tallahassee. This event took place this past Saturday 16 April 2022 at 7 pm in Tallahassee.
Talented Tenth in Tallahassee is an event where members can network and build new connections. It is a black-owned event. There were multiple music performances by artists. James Murray has a goal to build a community and support black-owned businesses.
Nick Austin is a spoken word artist originally from Queens, NY. Nick performed at the Talented Tenth in Tallahassee event. “I was invited by James to be one of the performers for the event based on his previous experience watching me perform spoken word. I performed one of my poems called “G.O.D.” which is a spiritual piece detailing my personal journey with Jesus Christ and overcoming life’s obstacles.” Nick Austin had an impromptu collaboration with another performer, Jorge Ramos, who plays the saxophone. He was a musical accompaniment on the next poem Nick performed, “Look At You”, which is a love poem. The duet turned out beautifully.

Jorge is a saxophonist of 17 years, and also a music producer. “I play saxophone for multiple bands around Brevard county part time. Currently learning how to DJ and produce music for my own shows as well as other musicians looking for beats.” James told Jorge about the event & about his business and what he’s got planned for the future. He knew Jorge was a musician and asked Jorge to play for the event, and of course Jordge said Yes. “As a friend of his, it was amazing seeing how many people came out to support him at his first business event, and even more so, all of the work he put in to make the event possible. I performed at the event, playing the saxophone to a few songs. It was so much fun, especially knowing that I was supporting my bro James through what I do best.”
Bianca is a 21-year-old singer/ songwriter based in Tallahassee. Bianca recently started working with VEZ studios making music, writing, and recording! ” I started out posting covers on instagram (@biancaasilverr) and also began posting originals. Bianca worked and decided to continue to work towards building a following in order to pursue music full time.” Bianca’s role was to provide entertainment & performing at the event. ” Most of my time at the event was spent listening and learning as James spoke about his background, different aspects of history, and the importance of supporting black owned businesses as he has just started his own. it was a great experience getting to hear about things that i haven’t necessarily learned about before and gaining new perspectives!”
Ja’Niya King is a model. Ja’Niya has (print,runway,brand ambassador) for 4 years. Ja’Niya is a coach/mentor to aspiring models. “I’m also a dancer. I dance for artist music videos and back up dance at live shows. During the day, I’m a painter” Ja’Niya King was a model for Jabari Daniels of PoeticPain LLC. “The experience was great! We had space to relax. We were provided with drinks while the networking commenced. From there, we took some photos and I slipped out to change. By the time I made it back, the show had started! I hear the saxophonist playing and I’m getting in my groove and before you know it, it’s my turn. I was called up, I got the mic and I reintroduced myself with Jabari and the runway walk came right in naturally. After my performance, before I changed out, I decided to sit in the crowd. ” James, being awesome, went back through to give everyone their shout out and back story going into his pitch. He has an amazing plan with a brilliant mind and I can’t wait to see how it evolves, says Ja’Niya King.
